I am a trained contemporary dancer, jewelery designer, photographer and the editor of www.anyonegirl.com. French blood, New Zealand raised and based. www.anyonegirl.com

We have been doing some great road trips around our North Island over the last few weekends as the weather gets warmer and warmer down here. I love getting out of the city and getting to explore this beautiful country I live in. New Zealand's east coast is the master of producing wonderful beaches, one of which is Mount Manganui. We visited here last weekend and did some amazing coastal walks around the mountain..

With the recent hype over the new James Bond movie Quantum Of Solace, I had a look at the design team behind the ever famous credit artwork and design. MK 12 is the ideas team behind those image infested credits at the start of the movie, that keep your eyes following that lingering smoke from the first fired gun. The integration between font and image is wonderful and still lends to the style in which we know and love of James Bond movies.

MK 12 have worked with global companies such as Levis, Adidas, Budweiser, MTV The Osbournes and created graphics for Stranger Than Fiction. Have a look at their website here.

Enjoy x

Following on from Reggie's post on TAR Magazine, I have just looked through the magazine myself and was blown away. Never have I seen such a well put together book, not only aesthetically but in terms of content and contributors too.

The creative within TAR Magazine, directed by Neville Wakefield, is like the team decided that they would create the worlds best arts/culture magazine and push any boundary that any previous magazine has created before now. From the transparent paper inserts to photography by Terry Richardson and Juergen Teller, this movement mag curates you through our socially conscious world of right now.

It seems that every new page turned is a surprise and an inspiration. What a wonderful hour.
TAR only comes out twice a year, so if you haven't already got hold of the first issue, be first in line for the next.

A recent skateboard exhibition 'Decked Out' held at Wellington's infamous ALC headquarters 'Manky Chops Gallery' saw some of the local artists put up some of their signature work onto the ever used canvas of a skateboard.
This is a some what exhausted avenue for some, i know, but I had to share just this one.

Created by Noah Butcher of PoMo for the exhibition, this one was named IceCream.
Funny that.

Anyway I thought it was very cool, and if your keen to view more pics you can here.
'It was the best of times, it was the worst of times,
it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness. It was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity.
It was the season of light, it was the season of darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.
We had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to heaven, we were all going direct the other way.'

A fresh start today, lets hope it calls a halt to our current state.

I was sent a beautiful postcard by one of my girlfriends who is being a gypsy at the moment, traveling around on her own, meeting amazing landscapes and people... and postcards. She sent me a postcard for my birthday which she later told me was picked up from a cafe while she was in Denmark. The painting on the cover was very beautiful, and it wasn't until this morning that I found out who the artist was... Mia Overgaard.

A wonderful artist originally from Denmark, and trained not only through art school but is a design school graduate too.... She did her work experience with Bettina Bakdal, and is now living in New York City running her own label Miaomiao.

Overgaard offers prints of her art work, over sized tees with her work on, and an opening into her world of magical, light sensitive and colourful work. Have a look at her site here. And have alook at some of her best stuff here at anyonegirl.com..... Enjoy!

On Monday, while fashion journalists, buyers and glossy magazine editors are focused on getting to the next Paris fashion show on time, a style revolution will be under way on the Internet, an event that could change the way all of those front-row names do business in the future. International Herald Tribune gives the full story on the most talked about movement in fashion today, and they're not talking about the clothes!

Net-a-porter is teaming with the designer Alexander McQueen where viewers will be able to buy the outfits online that caught their eye, and they will be shipped out to them within the next 24 hours!

Well the big hustle in our small city has erupted with the explosion of the Air New Zealand Fashion Week starting last night in Auckland City. The Viaduct harbour plays host to some of the countrys biggest names in fashion, while some choose to play off course and arrange secret hide out events around the city.

Today I am viewing Cybele range 'Utopia' for our Summer 08/09. This promises to produce hand stenciled fabrics in maxi dress and mini dress form alongside billowy shapes and fabrics with varying states of transparency.

Tonight I am getting a sneak at Nom*D, a New Zealand favourite. This season they have created a range called 'Insiders' which creates a play on the words 'inside out and outside in'.

I will spill the beans later today on what I see so stay tuned!!

I have just spent the last hour loosing myself in the wide open spaces of the Bless website. I have to say, there design and aesthetic is far beyond anything else out there. I love the way they portray themselves as a company and brand. They are insightful and inspiring. At the moment these guys are my favourite. In New Zealand we are in the deep midst of our winter season and as you may or may not have heard, it gets pretty damp and cold here which is why my eyes and heart are falling towards spaces with light and open warm air. I just had to share these pictures with you.
