Sony Foam Ad vs Peter Sellers 'The Party'
By now you are all very familiar with Sony's latest advert Sony Foam City. A ground breaking advert, as always by Sony, which is playful and genius. It has just occured to me that the big idea behind the foam city may have have been inspired by 60's director Peter Sellers movie, 'The Party'?
Here are scenes from both below.
'The Party', filmed in 1968 is visually full of life, colour, comedy and of course...party. This may, or may not have been the same inspiration behind the Sony campain, certainly fits.?
