From the backwoods to Broadway, Dolly Parton has been making music since she was 7 years old.   At 52 she is the producer of Broadway's new musical 9-5.   The smart blond who modeleed her looks on local prostitutes has written over 3000 songs, and put out 75 albums, some of them with huge hits like "I Will Always Love You, Jolene, and 9 to 5".    Her concert tours in 07 and 08 grossed 60 million.     She's been married to the same man (Carl Dean) for 42 years.    She is a spiritual woman, but eschews organized religion.     Well I haven't been to Dollywood but I see a winner when she walks on stage.     She doesn't judge and is quoted as saying, "It takes a lot of money to look this cheap."     I love it.    She's a character and did it all herself.   Now she is giving New Yorkers jobs and something to sing about.   Go Dolly.   Here are some pictures of the lovely blond over the years.    Photo from NY magazine, Michael Ochs archives, Getty images, Playboy,Andy Warhol foundation,Tom Hill
