I am not much of a blogger...so considering content for my first blog has been a bit sorted. Not because there isn't anything to say, but more because the process of building a blog essentially asks the individual two basic questions. What interests you and how do you want to present it? Being in the racket of aesthetics, art maker to be general, this kinda of question can really get me going. What I have learned in my weeks worth of blogging experience is that blogs expose you, or at least aspects of who you are, your age, your marital status, your likes, dislikes, kids no kids....design bent, artistic leanings.....the list is a never ending reflection of the self and what we choose to expose. Having said that...I made a swift and sweeping decision to do something I often do in my personal artwork when things get to close to the bone...hire out the job. Well, sorta. Honestly, with so many creative things swirling around it is hard not to get a bit seduced by the idea of sharing (as mundane as that sounds, this whole blogging thing appeals to my "for the people by the people" sensibility.)  

So this blog is shaping up to be a selection of some of the people I know, adore, respect, sometimes work with and some of the shit they do, write about, think about, and talk about. Thrown in are some random acts of art, culture and design, a travel tip or so, a flury of sport banter, some pleeeees for the planet (yawn) and well, lotsa pretty pictures, because as we know, people just don't read.
