I made my first ever important art purchase this weekend.    What a glorious feeling.    When you buy a new dress, pair of shoes, or even a car, there is a certain sadness that comes with the idea, that one day this coveted item will be old and worn.   Though with a piece of art, I can sit back with a smug smile, knowing that each passing day will only bring more value to my treasure.   The piece is titled Emma.   I am madly in love. 

The ever-fabulous illustrator/painter Claire Ellen Oswalt is having a show at Taylor de Cordoba gallery in Culver City, which opens March 15, and will run through April 19.  The show is called "Trustfall", and I just came from the Gallery, where I was able to take a sneak peek.  This show is going to be an amazing success, so if you care to join me in feeling smug... you'd better not dilly dally.  You can view past works at www.claireoswalt.com.  Enjoy!
