Just when you though NY was dead....DIESEL throws a smack down party that hit too many notes. So dirty, yet so good.

This video should throw you back to a time when people were listening to the radio, girls were rocking doc martins and ripped Levi's and your cousins had the flat brim Starter hats (or at least, mine did). Now things are pretty serious. The financial world is in total chaos, Sarah Palin is running her mouth, and a gallon of milk is $6.00 at Wholefoods. The stress levels are pulsing. Instead of feeding into the hysteria, choose to live. Choose to go out, wild out, and be around the good. In the in-between time educate yourself, but never, ever, conform to the madness. See, now you understand why in the lord's name I would post a Lidell Townsell video......
While other designers were scrambling to be fresh, yet safe and practical in these troubling economic times, it seems like the only man who really shined this season Alber Elbaz from Lanvin.  Oh those shoes, and those fabrics!  The drapery, the femininity of it all!  The looks were fresh and the color stories burst towards the end. It was lux at its finest.

Well done, very well done.
