Musician, singer, songwriter and co-founder of the British pop group Tears for Fears, Curt Smith, lets daughter's Diva and Wilder run circles around him. The girls love swimming, playing ping pong, making music and racking up points on Club Penguin with their cool Dad. When he's not on tour the staunch Obama supporter and newly naturalized American citizen can be found running, gardening, working on his home and championing liberal causes.

The lyrics on the opposite page are from Curt's album. “From a track called "Two", written about my first trip away from our first child. I thought that leaving for a few days would be a respite from the pressures of new parenthood. I wasn't expecting the near panic attack at the airport whilst leaving, or the dreadful worry of not being able to protect her from three thousand miles away.”

Curt, his wife, Frances Pennington and the girls live in Los Angeles.

Curt’s first solo album in 10 years, “Halfway, pleased” drops on May 20, 2008.
