After living and traveling all over the world, I currently reside, on the beach in Mexico. From here, I run a photo production company and promote the simple life. Life is an art, an each day a new canvas. The power to create is limitless. So what's next?

Ever heard of "The Eastern Garbage Patch"?

It is the name scientist's use when referring
to the floating island of plastics and debris that lies between California and
Hawaii. This mass of human negligence is said to be "Twice size of Texas".
Plastic, is one of the worst things for our
planet. Are we really a disposable society? What is going to take
for people to get the real perspective on plastic?
To find out more about "The Doldrums" look up "Twice the size of Texas".
I am faced with the question: should I really be on Facebook? I missed the whole MySpace movement why not save face and remain anonymous forever. The world is obsessed with reality TV. Facebook is as close as most people will ever get to having their own show. Your viewers are your friends and enemies and their friends and enemies.
Facebook is without a question an epidemic. People are addicted. Browsing on Facebook has become a national pastime. This social network should be called the "SPY Network". Feeding off the matrix breeds' preoccupation and paranoia for some. Do you wonder how many people are wasting time snooping in other people's lives and not living their own? Will there be self-help organizations created for Facebook Junkies? Perhaps there will be a FBA "Facebook Anonymous". The fact is people are trying "to quit" Facebook.
My friend put it perfectly "Do not put anything on Facebook that you do not want plastered on a New York Bus! Why because, they know where you are and what you're doing every time you log in. Once you have agreed to the terms they have the rights to your likeness and everything you post." Therefore Facebook owns you and there is nothing to you can do about it!
With all this being said, I think it only fair to tell you that I did join Facebook on Feb 7th. Call me masochistic. Everyday since I became a member of the "The Cult" the thought of taking the time to profile myself then spending time finding and being found sure seems a lot like work. Do I want to be faced with the past deal with present and let Facebook play with my future? Already, I am showing signs of a "Facebook Slacker"!
Once you're in are you bound forever? My friends tell me the only way out is to commit what is referred to as "Facebook Suicide", which is done by answering a series of questions like "has Facebook ruined your life and relationships?" After they have exhausted all options to keep you alive, Facebook like cryogenics allow you to freeze your page just in case you want to come back to life at a later date. Deleting your identity is not an option, so even though you committed suicide your not really dead.
Now the question is...Do I commit to "suicide" or commit to exploring my social network "so called life"? Will the cheesy applications be the end of me or will the thought of reaching out and touching people keep me going? For now, I am undecided.
