Dear Vince,
Does your ShamWOW really work?

I was more obsessed with Vince and his crazy personality than I was with the actual product he was trying to sell. BUT, I've heard from a very good source that ShamWOWs are actually the bomb. So give them a try.
I really want a 8 x 10 glossy headshot of Vince autographed for my wall of fame, so if anyone out there has the connection , MAKE IT HAPPEN.

Remember that old SNL skit ?... Dan Akroyd is Julia Childs and he accidentally cuts his finger then the "fake blood" contraption spurts out the blood like a supersoaker 2000. (you tube it if you haven't seen it, it's HI-LARIOUS).

Every so often while I'm airbrushing my airbrush gun clogs, then backs up with pressure. When this happens the paint spurts out in an upward fashion like a whale. ( OR a fake blood contraption) This is ok if the paint targets a wall or something, but once I had it happen at a event and it targeted 3, 13 year old girls in prom gowns. Umm yeah, and the paint was black, and it looked like I splatter painted these girls for a art show or something. It was BAD!

Well to get to the point people, as an artist or if you are a messy person it DOES NOT matter how messy you are, you just have to know all the best cleaning products that will hide the evidence.

I just bought this new version of Goof Off for latex/acrylic paint and I'm in love. It doesn't smell as fume intense as the normal Goof Off what so ever! And it takes dried latex paint off of anything super easy! PS- I WOULD NOT USE IT ON HUMAN SKIN, or a PROM GOWN!

I am totally sick of all my music. Why is it when you are listening to the radio.. ( I never listen to the radio) and you hear a song you like it sounds so much better? Its the element of surprise!

I'm always the last to know. IF YOU KNOW ME, you probably know that all I do is complain about my period. My good friend was so sick of hearing me complain she signed me up for this "alert" system. ( which i have to say i INVENTED YEARS AGO) too bad I never actually did it!

But you register and you get text messages to let you know when you are getting your period, when you should not have sex, and alerts on why you feel bloated and why you are craving a chocolate titanic to eat!!

If you have a car in greenpoint, or williamsburg area BEWARE of where you park. The city is being sneaky and adding many new "NO STANDING ANYTIME" signs on a lot of the corners. I learned the hard way when I parked late at night in one of my normal spots,, only to wake up on my morning bagel stroll to see a nasty orange ticket superglued to my windshield!

Yeah, I already bought two of these because I've been thinking of getting a pet,, but I hate cleaning up poop!!!

I can't believe how many new "places" are opening up in this area. Today I happened to walk down a street that I normally don't walk past, and saw a new thrift store. I didn't have time to go in , but I will on Monday!.

McCarren Park Pool - THE BREEDERS this sunday 13th of July

Word to the wise,... when , I should say If, they play "Cannonball", please don't act like a little school girl and try to do a cannonball into the pool, because there is no water yet to absorb your dumb ass. If my memory serves me right, I think this is the last year that the pool will hold shows, next year it will be a fully functioning swimming hole FULL of germs and Baby Ruths.

So if you haven't yet seen a show at MPP, you really should!! The pool is sooo GIGANTIC, ( no pun intended) that you can see it from outerspace!!! AND , for the best view stand in the deep end, don't worry you won't drown.

Since I was a child my parents took me to Stony Brook State Park every summer. I remember getting excited for the trip almost as if we were going to an amusement park or Disney World for that matter.
Stony Brook is one of upstate New Yorks best kept secrets. It is a gorge that you can literally hike and walk through. There are waterfalls, natural whirlpools.. AND at the very end of the gorge,( where you actually start your hike at and can picnic at) they dam off the creek and created 2 giant natural water swimming pools. The water is always flowing and it is like a natural infinity pool. You can hike up and swim under waterfalls and it is breath taking. I can't understand why this park hasn't been featured in Vogue or something, or by Valerie Delia on NY1! There is something about the fresh water that totally regenerates you, it makes you feel like you have been at a million dollar spa all day. Maybe because the gorge is ancient. It is one of the post - glacial streams,,,, research has said that the gorge is actually older than the dinosaurs.

All you need is a car and a hotel for one night,,,because it's totally worth it.
