Gary Baseman's highly-collectible collab with Harveys Seatbeltbags is finally here. I played a small role in making the project happen, and this week, I received a set of the beautiful bags.

Not only do the handbags feature Baseman's artwork on the outside, they also have an amazing custom lining and key charms of his Venison, Creamy and Marilyn characters. And i secretly love the dust bags that are imprinted with hot pink metallic Baseman images.

Baseman was just featured on Fecal Face, and his next solo show will be in Barcelona this July at IguaPop gallery. Check it out if you are in Spain for Bread & Butter.

Hair hats by Japanese artist Nagi Noda are a little crazy and a lot of fun. They come in a variety of species, and of course, the dogs are my favorite.

Mark your calendars! On May 17, Nov York CIty opens at Alife in Los Angeles. Based on Dumar Brown's novel The World Screaming Nov, the exhibition features new work by Eric Haze.

Eric is creating eight archival silkscreen works on canvas, and I am looking forward to seeing his work in person. He has been a notable figure in the design and fashion community over the last few decades, and his iconic graphics have defined the visual language of hip hop bands such as the Beastie Boys, Public Enemy and LL Cool J.

The event also marks the debut of the The World Screaming Nov collaborative set, which includes a signed copy of Brown's novel and a custom Alife t-shirt designed by Eric Haze.

Look for more art events at Alife LA in the coming months, as they will be presenting special exhibitions throughout the year.
