Inquiring minds have been asking who makes the skullfabulous earrings that I have been wearing out and about, and they are by Los Angeles artist Natalia Fabia. Fabia's Hookerfeathers jewelry line can be purchased by contacting her via her website. And in addition to her cool designs, they are super lightweight, which means the bigger, the better.

After many, many trips to Target, I am back to blogging for 2009.

From Raymond Pettibon beach towels and Sigerson Morrison shoes to dog food and paper towels, Target has all the bases covered for a stylish and practical household.

And as if I need one more reason to go, the genius superstore recently announced that designer Alexander McQueen will be launching a special collection in March.
Can't wait - this looks good!!

Gary Baseman's highly-collectible collab with Harveys Seatbeltbags is finally here. I played a small role in making the project happen, and this week, I received a set of the beautiful bags.

Not only do the handbags feature Baseman's artwork on the outside, they also have an amazing custom lining and key charms of his Venison, Creamy and Marilyn characters. And i secretly love the dust bags that are imprinted with hot pink metallic Baseman images.

Baseman was just featured on Fecal Face, and his next solo show will be in Barcelona this July at IguaPop gallery. Check it out if you are in Spain for Bread & Butter.

Amor Munoz is one of my favorite new artists. Her work came to my attention last year through Gary Baseman, who collaborated with her for his Los Angeles solo show.
Amor's art has a clean graphic style that I admire, and she infuses it with provocative imagery. Her Walk The Porn shoe series is one of my favorites and most recent art acquisition. Check out her website, which features more of Amor's work.

Amor is from Mexico City, and she will be having a solo show in NYC next month, which will include painting, embroidery and video.
